DescriptionThis course will teach students a wide range of Desmos operations which will help them solve Digital SAT Math problems in a quicker, faster, and more efficient manner to help them improve their SAT Math score. In addition, students will learn how to solve problems with Desmos that they otherwise would not know how to solve by hand. There are 77 practice problems to demonstrate the various Desmos techniques covered in the course, with each solved in detail. The course also features a reference sheet of all "Desmosable" problems for Bluebook SAT practice tests 4-11 including Desmos links that demonstrate what exactly to type in Desmos to solve each problem.
The course begins with an Introduction to Desmos for those who have never used it or have limited familiarity with it, followed by Core (Basic) skills, Intermediate skills, and Advanced skills, which is broken up into six different parts. Topics include solving various types of equations, solving systems of equations, linear regression, solving formulas, identifying equivalent expressions, evaluating functions, shifting functions, solving advanced percentage problems, using sliders in various methods, factoring expressions, and using regression to find the value of a constant(s) in a wide range of problems (quadratic equations/solutions, quadratic functions, sum & product of roots problems, factoring problems, circle problems, and more).
