Welcome to Module 7. This course is part of a complete 20-module Real Digital Marketing training programme. Each module can be taken individually or as part of the full series.
In this exciting and insightful module, we focus on one of the most important disciplines in marketing: research. Successful marketing is not based on guesswork or assumptions. It is based on understanding what customers actually want, what problems they need solving, and how they search for information when making decisions.

At the heart of this module is what I call the Triple Crown Research Method. In this section, I demonstrate how to research your market in a practical and effective way, helping you discover exactly what your customers are searching for, the problems they are trying to solve, and the topics that matter most to them.
Using this method, you will learn how to identify the questions customers are asking, the content they are consuming, where they spend their time online, and how urgent their needs may be. These insights provide valuable guidance for creating marketing that directly addresses customer demand.
By the end of this module, you will have gathered what can best be described as marketing gold dust: real insights drawn directly from customer behaviour and customer interest. Instead of relying on guesswork, you will have information that allows you to build your marketing around genuine customer demand.
This research then becomes the foundation for the next stage of the process, where we analyse, refine, and organise these insights so they can be turned into clear and effective marketing strategies.
