Write Like a Boss will equip you with the right knowledge and skills to clearly and powerfully articulate your ideas and influence your audience.Writing is a deeply underrated yet critical skill that I've come to believe every manager should understand. I think writing is also one of those things that lots of people think they can do. But they don't see that there's still room to improve their writing; there's an opportunity to write better. But a few people that have this understanding, and people that do have this understanding, stand out.There's a longer course that goes into a lot more detail, but if you're limited on time and want to just get a quick understanding of what you can improve. This course is for you. This first section goes into a few key reasons why you should improve your writing.There are a bunch of articles that will be shared with you as part of this course, and you can read through them to help you understand why writing is such a critical skill for managers, and you can start to see the frameworks that can support you to become a better writer. When I say manager, I don't mean just you just managing your teams. I mean, your ability to make the right impression, your ability to influence your colleagues, your ability to influence upwards. All of this can be driven by your writing.In a professional setting. Most of your images are crafted through your writing, your persona, or your personality. It's important that you work on this skill and that you improve it. I hope that this short course takes you there. Writing is an increasingly critical skill in multi-generational, multi-location, multi-skilled workforces in an increasingly globalized world.Your writing is going to go before you and make impressions about you that you can understand. So getting it right is critical.
