The Simcenter team is pleased to announce the availability of Nastran 2019.2, Version 1872. Simcenter includes the premier finite element method (FEM) solver NX Nastran software to offer engineers computational perfor-mance, accuracy, reliability and scalability.
About Simcenter Nastran. An industry standard for several decades, NX Nastran is a finite element solver for stress, vibration, buckling, structural failure, heat transfer, acoustics and aeroelasticity analyses.
Available as a standalone solver or integrated in Simcenter 3D, NX Nastran is credited with saving millions of dollars in product development costs. NX Nastran Advanced Acoustics software extends the capabilities of NX Nastran for simulating exterior noise propagation from a vibrating surface.
NX Nastran is part of the Simcenter portfolio of simulation tools, and is used to solve structural, dynamics and acoustics simulation problems.
In this demonstration we will compare the structural performance of two wing designs. Simcenter 3D offers an integrated simulation environment with embedded multidiscipline solvers, including the NX Nastran solver.
