The prophet's primary calling has never been self-promotion - it has always been the glory of God and the edification of His people. Every great prophetic figure in Scripture - from Moses, who interceded in a wayward nation, to Jeremiah, who wept over a beloved Jerusalem - understood that prophetic ministry is inseparable from sacrificial love.
