DescriptionDiscriminative listening is the ability that one can distinguish differences in sound, in interpersonal communication, this ability can aid us notice changes in tone, pace, pitch, pauses and vocal effort. Let clearly understand that noticing those differences is useful, but interpreting them requires context and clarification. in fact, this form of listening improves with practice, but not in conversation which returns almost no feedback.
