Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or holding onto emotions that just won't seem to shift? This course offers you a gentle and powerful way to begin letting go-through the healing practice of expressive writing.
Across this 6-session journey, you'll be guided step-by-step through a range of writing approaches including journalling, creative writing, memoir, poetry, reflective writing, and metaphorical writing. Each session opens a different pathway into your inner world, helping you safely explore your thoughts, process emotions, and gain deeper clarity and understanding.
This course is not about being a "good writer." There is no right or wrong here. It's about creating a space where you can be honest with yourself, without judgement. A space to breathe, reflect, and release what has been sitting beneath the surface.
With simple and supportive guided exercises, you'll learn how to gently work through stress, worries, and emotional pain-transforming them into something that feels lighter and more manageable.
Expressive writing has been studied for 40 years and has been shown to support a wide range of benefits, including improved emotional well-being, reduced anxiety and stress, enhanced mood, and even positive effects on physical health. It can also help you feel more connected-to yourself and to others.
In the course I share some of my eighteen years of experience using Expressive Writing with you. I have been running in-person workshops for this time as well and I have seen countless people release pain, and worries as well as discover new perspectives and experience breakthroughs in their lives. This is why I wanted to bring this course to you, so you can experience these benefits as well.
By the end of this course, you'll have a toolkit of writing practices you can return to whenever life feels overwhelming.
