Description
I have come across different PCB design software but KiCAD is found to be one of the best software to use. Lets get hands on with KiCAD 9. KiCAD 9 is a open source and powerful EDA software to design high quality PCB. KiCAD can be used by students, hobbist, engineers and professionals. In this course we will begin with simple circuit and learn how to create our own printed circuit boards (PCBs) from scratch, no prior experience required.You'll start by building electronic schematics using standard components like resistors, LEDs, and batteries and other components. There will be Step-by-step guide, you'll learn how to assign footprints, wire your schematic, perform electrical rule checks (ERC), and import your design into the PCB layout editor. After that you'll place components, draw copper tracks, add zones and perform design rule checks (DRC) to validate your layout. Learn how to add 3D model to footprint.
