Besides that all the software used in this course are all absolutely free, the course is fashioned in a kind of best-practices way/technique to make sure you are not guided off course - the procedures are sequential in approach, and stretching through leveraging the following free required installation components
*Oracle Database Installation - in which we took advantage Oracle Database XE 18c (as it is a free version for developers) as our Database to store and manipulate data.
*Oracle APEX (we used three different versions) as our Application development tools, as it is the most preferred Low-Code Web Application development platform by Oracle itself.
*Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS) - to give our applications access to interact with data of other applications (even when created on another platform or language) using JSON as language to achieve that.
*Application Server comes in, and here we leverage Apache Tomcat, since it is one of the best, secure, lightweight, fast and free Application Server out there today.
And we can not forget to mention how we delved into the world of Pluggable Databases (PDBs) - where we learnt: how to create a PDB, how to switch into it; as it is a container, how to Install Oracle APEX on it (multiple APEX even), how to Install and configure RESFul Services in a PBD and so on.
