    Klezmer as an element that connects styles, people and cultures is that Trademarks of this CD. My two duo formations could hardly be more different: on the one hand birch Falkenroth as great classical harpist, who only became familiar with our collaboration also enthusiastic about klezmer and with their rare instrument is a special feature of klezmer music. On the other side of the Sebastian Voltz, overflowing with enthusiasm for playing and improvising "Swinging Klezmer" on the grand piano. For me it is with both duo partners always different - and always a great pleasure, together and in dialogue to create music. We wanted this attractive contrast mediate with this CD.

    We now understand even better than before what "being Klezmer" means: It means expressing that we find joy in life, in everyone day we are allowed to be on this earth. We want to play that we would like to convey to our audience. We sincerely pray and hope that we never forget!
