For the water, you can use a plastic recipient found in the kitchen. It is advisable to have your own working space, where you can keep all the things you need to create your home decor items. It does not have to be anything special or expensive, but it is good to have a table where you can place all your tools and materials so that you don't need to put them all away each time you're finished with work.
