In March 2013, Epica invited to Eindhoven and celebrated a unique anniversary show there - as part of their tenth birthday. In front of a sold out house, the Dutch symphonic metallers stood on stage for over three hours and performed their greatest hits together with a 70-man choir and orchestra and there were also numerous surprises, such as a classical medley. As if that wasn't enough, there was a happy reunion with all former Epica members, along with a guest appearance by Floor Jansen (Nightwish, ReVamp). Ten cameras captured this fascinating Epica show, which was not only framed by a lot of pyros, but also by various acrobats. In total, Epica are chasing a proud 26 tracks among the people, including the brand new title track "Retrospect" and their hymns "Quietus", "The phantom agony" or something new like "Storm the sorrow" or the final "Consign to oblivion". DVD and Blu-ray are rounded off by individual interviews with all musicians and a show documentary. A pompous concert spectacle that will write metal history.
