The National Instruments product team is pleased to announce the availability of NI-488.2 version 21.0.0. The De Facto Industry Standard for GPIB Communication.
Enhancements and Bug Fixes in Version 21.0
- Added support for Windows Server 2019
- Removed support for Windows Vista/XP/7/8.x, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, or any 32-bit Windows operating systems.
- Removed support for DOS and Win16 applications which only worked on 32-bit Windows operating systems.

NI-488.2 increases your productivity with tools designed to minimize your test time, such as the NI-488.2 Hardware Installation Utility and Troubleshooting Wizard, GPIB Interactive Control utility, GPIB Analyzer software, and online help.
NI-488.2 includes high-level commands that automatically handle all bus management, so you do not have to learn the programming details of the GPIB hardware product or the IEEE 488.2 protocol. Low-level commands are also available for maximum flexibility and performance.
