CSI ETABS 19.1.0 build 2420 | 865.2 mb
Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI), is pleased to announce the availability of ETABS version 19.1.0 build 2420. This release includes enhanced PT modeling, improvements to loading and design codes, speedier Performance-Based Design (PBD), and other enhancements.
DesignConcrete beam and strip-based slab design now allow control over including or excluding axial compression in flexural design if the axial compression reduces the required reinforcement. Axial tension and axial compression that increase the required flexural reinforcement are always considered. For post-tensioned construction all axial load is always considered.
Eurocode 2-2004 concrete frame design has been updated to consider the extra longitudinal rebar due to shear.
Performance-Based DesignCalculation of shear yield (Vy) now includes user-specified rebar in beam and column hinges even if the member has not been designed.
Faster initialization and finalization of the analysis process when running cases in parallel.
Faster nonlinear stiffness formation, event determination, and state update operations for small to moderate sized models.
ETABSis an engineering software product that caters to multi-story building analysis and design. Modeling tools and templates, code-based load prescriptions, analysis methods and solution techniques, all coordinate with the grid-like geometry unique to this class of structure. Basic or advanced systems under static or dynamic conditions may be evaluated using ETABS. For a sophisticated assessment of seismic performance, modal and direct-integration time-history analyses may couple with P-Delta and Large Displacement effects. Nonlinear links and concentrated PMM or fiber hinges may capture material nonlinearity under monotonic or hysteretic behavior. Intuitive and integrated features make applications of any complexity practical to implement. Interoperability with a series of design and documentation platforms makes ETABS a coordinated and productive tool for designs which range from simple 2D frames to elaborate modern high-rises.
