Do you want to learn how to quickly program your own web crawlers ... all in Excel? Then this class is the right one for you. No coding experience needed. We'll create 3 web crawlers that you can use for your own projects or work.
1. Programming your first web crawler will teach out how to use VBA in general and the basics of web crawling with VBA. You'll learn how to open Internet Explorer, navigate to a website, fill in a word of your choice, and then click on a button
2. The second web crawler will help you to deepen your knowledge. Additionally, you'll learn how you can extract information from the web and save it to Excel.
3. In the last project you will use what you previously learned and build a bigger web crawler. The web crawler will automatically go on a website, upload information from your spreadsheet, and then download the results.
The course includes a cheat sheet. Everything you'll need to know to build those web crawlers will be in the sheet. You can save and use the sheet for your personal projects and for your work.
