Guitarist Jim Fox brings to the table a combination of rich and varied musical experiences. A graduate of The Berklee College of Music, he has been an active studio musician in Hollywood, California, playing on numerous records, movies, television shows, and commercials. He has accompanied and/or recorded with such artists as Rosemary Clooney, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Sammy Davis, Jr., Michael Feinstein, Steve Lawrence, Tony Bennett, Barry Manilow, The Temptations, and many many more. Some of the movies include "La Bamba," "What Women Want," "The Presidio," "Beaches," and "Raising Helen." His unique style is based on a blend of solid time, strong melody, and harmonic interest.
The liner notes were written by Frank Sinatra, Jr., who states, "Listen to the subtle influence of a very gentle swing feel that Jim includes at different points during each selection. At the same time, there is ever present a constant blending of playing styles and imaginative harmonies in every phrase. This is the mark of Jim's detailed, but very romantic approach to the music he makes whenever he plays solo..."
