Elvis Presley's producer, Felton Jarvis, wrote that Sherrill Nielsen was "Elvis' favorite singer." The Hall of Fame gospel singer, Nielsen, wrote most of the songs on this album. The famous true-born rock'n roll singer from Belgium Jerry Deewood and Sherrill met at the end of 2004 during a performance in Belgium. It was the beginning of a very close collaboration. Their first album together remained #10 in the worldwide authority Southern Gospel News Top 20 Favorites for almost 7 months. The title, "Reborn", refers to the long musical path these songs have traveled in the hope of making them a truly emotional tribute to Sherrill Nielsen.
