The ProCAST software package allows you to solve almost any technological problems associated with the casting of metals!
ProCAST allows you to simulate any foundry technology:
- any gravitational pouring (chill casting, in sand and gravel mix, cold casting, smelted casting, etc.);
Adjustable pressure casting (high pressure casting, low pressure casting, backpressure casting,
vacuum suction casting, etc.);
- centrifugal casting;
continuous casting;
-pouring gasified model.
The ProCAST program allows you to determine:
-distribution of thermal fields in the casting and form;
-evaluate the level of stresses in the casting and metal equipment
- allows to calculate cyclic loads (for example, when casting under pressure).

Earth casting, gravity, oblique casting
The key success factors in gravity casting are related to the optimization of the gate system and the exclusion of areas of possible shrinkage.
Investment casting, shell casting
ProCAST is well suited for solving investment casting problems. For example, ProCAST can automatically generate a grid that reflects the shell shape, allowing for unequal thickness and layering.
This takes into account heat radiation with shading effects that are important for high-temperature alloys. ProCAST provides the ability to simulate form filling, solidification, and microstructure formation. The location of the risers and the use of insulating or exothermic leads, their effect on shrinkage can be studied on a computer and visualized on the screen to achieve optimum casting quality.
Low pressure die casting
In order to actually reproduce the factory conditions, it is possible to carry out modeling of the working cycles of the form to the state when the temperature conditions become stationary. The calculated temperature fields make it possible to calculate the filling of the mold and the solidification of the casting.
Process parameters can be adjusted so that an optimal process quality is achieved in the shortest amount of time.
High Pressure Die Casting
ProCAST allows you to solve such specific high-pressure casting tasks as liquid stamping and semi-solid casting. The optimal speed profile of the plunger, the design of the gates and the pourability can be easily determined in the modeling process even for thin-walled products. Thermomechanical chill cycles can be calculated not only to increase its life cycle, but also to increase productivity, thus reducing risks and costs.
