Potsdam (Germany), March 25, 2019: German digital botany software company Laubwerk announces the release of version 1.0.28 of their successful player plugins for Laubwerk Plants Kits, a collection of render-ready, realistic 3D plants designed specifically for architects, CG, and VFX artists. All Laubwerk Plants Kits, including the Freebie Kit, now include the updated Laubwerk Player extension for SketchUp.

Highlights of the Plant Kit 1.0.28 update include exclusive improvements for our SketchUp users:

- Added SketchUp Pro 2019 support
- Added V-Ray Next for SketchUp support
- Improved UI design and performance
- Added macOS support for our Python extension.
- Improved macOS installers with installer certification, and better detection of  installed applications.

About Laubwerk Plants Kit.   Laubwerk Plants are high-quality, customizable 3D tree models that save time and look great. Laubwerk Plants Kits let architects, CG artists, and VFX specialists insert photo-realistic tree models into their 3D scenes quickly and easily, avoiding typical slowdowns from overly complicated parameters or excess memory usage. Also the powerful African mahogany, the firey-flowered royal poinciana and prized umbrella-shaped rain tree, yellow flame and Queensland umbrella tree.
Plants Kit 4 is an impressive collection of subtropical tree species, including the Mediterranean cypress, fascinating flowering trees such as the Japanese camellia and the world's most popular palm, the Canary Island date palm.
Plants Kit 5 is an impressive collection of temperate coniferous tree species planted in parks, gardens, or forests including excellent specimen trees for lawns such as eastern white pine, Japanese larch with good autumn color, and popular ornamental and live Christmas trees.
Plants Kit 6 offers a selection of both popular and distinctive temperate deciduous tree species planted in parks, gardens, or streets including excellent specimen trees with wonderful floral display such as Norbert's magnolia, Japanese maple with beautiful autumn color, and the dark red leaved trees such as copper beech or black cherry plum.
Plants Kit 7 is a spectacular collection of tropical species found across the tropics, growing and planted at beaches, streets, parks, and gardens. The kit includes the coconut palm - the symbol of a tropical island paradise, the travelers palm - one of nature's most distinctive and remarkable plants, and the Vanatu fan palm - one of the most interesting and elegant of all small palms.
