Ashampoo Slideshow Studio HD makes sharing your pictures easier that it used to be. With its easy interface and ready-to-use themes you can create great auto-playing slideshows with music and terrific animated transitions in a snap. With Ashampoo Slideshow Studio HD 4, turning your images into beautiful slideshows becomes a piece of cake. Music, various transitions, overlays and credits help render your videos special.
The program's interface is intuitive, with several different easy-to-use sections. In one section users select the images they want to include in the slideshow, in another they can select a theme-birthday, breaking news, etc.-that will frame each image, in a third they can edit captions and other text, and in the fourth, a preview of the slideshow can be viewed. Users can select the transition effects that are used between each of the images or allow the program to select them randomly, and music can be added to the presentations as well.
Once users are satisfied with the slideshow's appearance and audio, it can be processed into several different formats, including MPG, AVI, and WMV. A built-in Help file is fairly well-written and does a good job of explaining how the program works. Overall, although there was nothing particularly outstanding about it, we liked Ashampoo Slideshow Studio HD because it was easy to use and produced an attractive slideshow. It's not the best of the best, but it will meet the needs of most users.
