Autodesk Inc. has released Netfabb 2019 R2. There are some significant enhancements, but the big news is the update to latticing, the new "CAD-friendly" interface, new machines integrations, and some updates to Netfabb simulation to speed up your process and improve the accuracy of your results.
What's new in this release:
New Menu Style:
-Access violation when hitting F2 to rename a part while the new menu style is active
-Shield Labeling and List Labeling swapped with respect to their buttons in the new menu
-Keyboard shortcuts assigned to the labeling modes are ignored while the new menu style is active
-Netfabb does not react to SpaceMouse input anymore
-Clipping planes do not work properly while the new menu style is active and the clipping planes view -is detached from main window
-Access violation in rare circumstances after visiting Settings
-Minor icon, naming, and arrangement inconsistencies in menu structure
Machine workspaces:
-SLM 280 HL 1.0 has configurations missing
-Unable to save custom configuration for Xact Metal machines
-No configurations available for Xact Metal machines in Netfabb Premium
-Performing Z-compensation in Sisma workspaces removes support
-Rare glitches in W2P workspaces
-ExOne workspaces show various small issues
-Z value of build platform ignores buildplate thickness value
Lattice Commander:
-An issue causes Invalid type cast message
-The Trim role trims both mesh and lattice bodies instead of lattices only as intended
Miscellaneous:
-Netfabb can launch on screen space of disconnected monitor
-Cannot resize cutting plane by right-clicking and dragging the plane's nodes
Loading simulation results:
-Netfabb cannot read simulation results when write results frequency in Simulation Utility is set to greater than 1
-Simulation results in the support module are not updated when the unit system is switched
ATU:
-Inconsistent EBPA export results
-Fixed an issue with inconsistent export results in Netfabb when an EBPA is used which uses the ATU material-thickness calculation.
Invalid Iterators:
-Fixed invalid iterators in javascript when the corresponding list is cleared
Disappearing breakpoints
-Fixed unexpectedly disappearing breakpoints in editor
Invalid memory read access:
-Fixed memory access error
Wrong Encoding on file open:
-Fixed wrong character encoding when opening a file by clicking on a breakpoint in the breakpoint list
Wrong Encoding on file save
-Fixed wrong encoding when saving a file which is opened in an editor but not added to the current project
Breakpoint cannot be removedL
-Fixed an issue with breakpoints which cannot be removed at line 0
