This is a hands-on course designed to teach you how Oracle Cloud and enterprise SQL analytics work in the real world.
This course is built for beginners who want practical skills, not theory.
We start with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) setup. You will learn how to access OCI, log in correctly, and understand the cloud environment you'll be working in. Then you will learn what Oracle Autonomous Database is, why it is widely used in enterprise environments, and how to create your own Autonomous Database step-by-step.
Once your database is ready, you'll create a database admin account and learn how to access Database Actions, Oracle's powerful browser-based SQL environment. This means you can write SQL and explore data without installing any software.
Next, we move into analytics using the famous SH (Sales History) schema. This is a real Oracle sample dataset designed for business intelligence and data warehouse reporting. You will learn what the SH schema is, how to access it, and how to understand its star schema structure - including fact tables, dimension tables, and relationships.
From there, we shift into true enterprise business intelligence.
You will write SQL queries for real business metrics and KPIs. You will perform time series analysis to understand trends over time. You will build customer analytics to understand buyer behaviour. You will analyze product performance to identify top-performing products and categories.
