Description
With the advent of the technological era, digital applications are released at an exponential rate. The primary purpose of these applications is to address the problems of a target market. The product management team interacts with this market to understand its challenges and ensures that the right product is built to serve its users. Through various elicitation techniques, this product team establishes requirements for the solution that will solve the market's demands and generates a strategic roadmap with a list of features and success metrics. Afterwards, the product team works with a design team to create a prototype. During the usability testing of this prototype, the product team will have a better understanding of whether their solution actually addresses the market's needs. The next steps are to prioritize the backlog and implement the requirements with the technical team. Once developed and tested, the product is delivered to the market through various digital channels and other marketing/sales tactics. Analytical tools and customer support are utilized to monitor the performance of the product. These activities can be grouped into 4 major phases of product management: Discovery, Design, Development, and Delivery. These 4 product phases will be explored in this easy-to-follow course with insightful content and a bonus case study where the course concept is applied to a case study.
