Description
This course is about the solar energy as you know that solar energy is the type of renewable energy and we get energy from sun Millions of years ago, so this course emphasizes on the solar thermal energy. In solar thermal energy we can use energy from the sun without using photovoltaic cells. There are two type of solar thermal energy one is active, and another is passive so solar thermal energy having lot of applications like with the help of solar energy we can generate electricity by using concentrated solar thermal power plant. We can also use solar thermal energy for the drying of crops, food and other thing by using solar thermal air collectors. Similarly, we can also design Colling system using solar energy this can be happened by using solar absorption chillers. Similar we can also use solar thermal for space heating. We can also use solar energy for cooking of meal so we can use solar cooker. Similarly for purification of sea or salty water we can use the process of desalination for that process we can also use solar thermal systems. Solar geezer is one of the most useful systems in these days.
