As a beginner, learning programming can seem like a humongous task. Many of us don't have the time or patience to learn all the things that we are "told" we must know in order to be "Rockstar" programmers.

The Traditional Approach

The truth is, that many courses aimed at beginners are too long, too complex, and too typical. In other words, the kitchen sick is thrown at the student. Every possible detail about the language is crammed down the beginning student's throat. We call this "Just in Case" learning.

The Modern Approach

My approach is "Just in Time" learning. With this approach, I teach you the core constructs that you have to know to become good in programming. If you are learning it in my course, then it is extremely important for you to know at this point in your programming journey.

Contents and Overview

This course contains over 70 lectures and 9 hours of content. It's designed for anyone who wants to become a programmer but is not quite sure how to go about doing that. There is a lot of noise out there.

In this course, we strip out the noise and give you exactly what you need to know.

You will learn about all the core concepts that you must master as a programmer, starting with variables and ending with functions. Along the way, you will have plenty of chances to test your understanding.

By the end of this course, you'll have valuable coding and problem-solving skills that will help you to quickly transition to other aspects of programming without feeling overwhelmed.
