This is an in depth course covering basic to advanced techniques that can later be applied to most styles of photography.
It covers the fundamentals of how your equipment works, including using a flash, with practical examples and bits of advice sprinkled all over this layered cake of a course.
Approaching groups of people at an event for photos can feel a little unnatural at first. I talk about some of the things I've learnt about people while doing event photography, and I hope this helps you with your approach.
The first time I used a flash was in a nightclub. I was very nervous to use one, so I had avoided it up until that point. Using it completely transformed my photography. I hope that if you feel similar, this course can give you a friendly nudge to jumping in the wonderful deep end of using your own light. ITS WORTH IT!!! :D :D :D
If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer. Many of the topics discussed are a whole world on their own, and if theres any extra information you're interested in, I'll be happy to help you get what you're looking for. This includes but is not limited to: Specific gear, techniques, questions on lighting, or finding the reason behind a problem you may be having. I'll do my best to help!
