AlterPDF impresses at first glance with how well it behaves, how simple and intuitive it looks and the sheer amount of features it offers.
Unfortunately, given the lightweight nature of the app, the only drawback that was discovered during testing is the time it needs to perform pretty much any operation.
While the times itself may not seem all that bad (2-3 seconds/page, depending on the content), using this program on PDF files with hundreds of pages may prove to be time-inefficient.
The only feature missing that would make this program a complete deal would be the ability to preview whatever change you want to bring to your PDF files, which would let you skip the sometimes unnecessary waiting times.
A great solution for when you have PDF files on your hands
If you're a person that has to deal with PDF files on a daily basis, AlterPDF is a program you should consider trying, since it manages to bring you all the tools you may ever need as a basic user, albeit with some waiting times.
