Set Teamcenter preferences to design symbols
Set Teamcenter preferences to associate a symbol with equipment during symbol development in the Symbol Designer task environment.
In Teamcenter, you must add the following values to the ICS_classifiable_types preference to be able to associate symbols with equipment:
- NXP0Equipment
- NXP0EquipmentRevision
- NXP0GhostEquip
- NXP0GhostEquipRevision
- NXP0InstrumEquip
- NXP0InstrumEquipRevision
- NXP0PortEquip
- NXP0PortEquipRevision
3D Cabinet Design in native Industrial Electrical Design
You can now use 3D cabinet design even when you do not use Teamcenter Integration for NX.
The following functionalities are available:
- Design 3D models of multiple electrical cabinets.
- Define the mounting and placement of the 3D models of products and their components in the graphics area.
- Manage 3D model assignments to products.
- Move the 3D models of the products after you place them in the cabinet design.
- Place 3D models on other 3D models based on the configuration of their mounting interfaces.
