What is new in SIMOCODE ES V17The following new features and innovations are available at SIMOCODE ES in the TIA Portal:
Creation of CFC-partitions- CFC plans can be divided into so-called partitions, which boosts performance and clarity for extensive plans
Extended possibilities for the print settings of SIMOCODE parameters- Default print settings for compact printing can now be selected for each device type
- Parameters to be printed can be selected
Export and import of parameters- Export and import of parameters in a .csv file with the aid of an add-in provided
- Device parameters can thus be adapted in list form also outside SIMOCODE ES
Improved Performance- On execution of control commands in commissioning editor
- Improvement of overall performance by various optimization measures
- Improvement in stability
General improvements of tooltips, labeling and online help systemSIMOCODE ES V17is the central software package for the configuration, commissioning, operation, and diagnosis of SIMOCODE pro. The software is based on the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) central engineering framework and can be seamlessly integrated if additional TIA Portal V17-based software such as STEP 7 and WinCC is present, thus providing the user with a consistent, efficient, and intuitive solution to all automation tasks.
The user can choose between SIMOCODE ES Basic which is available free of charge and SIMOCODE ES Professional which has been introduced with Version 16 of SIMOCODE ES.
With SIMOCODE ES Basic SIMOCODEa powerful tool for commissioning or maintenance engineers.
SIMOCODE ES Professional,with its more extensive range of functions and integrated graphics editor, is a perfect tool for engineering and configuring. SIMOCODE ES Professional also permits parameterization and diagnostics through PROFIBUS/PROFINET. The display of all operating, service, and diagnostics data supplies important information about the current state of the motor and plant always - everywhere on PROFIBUS or PROFINET.
TIA Portal Language PacksSIMOCODE ES V17 - like TIA Portal V17 - can be directly installed in the languages German, English and Chinese. The languages French, Spanish and Italian can be installed later using the TIA Administrator or downloaded and installed directly from this page.
But those using SIMOCODE ES V17 as standalone software will also enjoy its benefits.
