Pandemic and other crises have created disruptions in careers. 85 Mn Jobs are going to be decreased in demand by 2025 and the demand for new 97 min jobs will increase.
Accounting and finance-related jobs occupied 5 out of the top 10 spots in reducing 85 Mn jobs. and None in tops 10 jobs in new 97 Mn Jobs.
Given these changes, finance professionals need to have a strategy for developing and re-developing careers in finance fields. Very recently i learned a strategy used by a business called "Blue ocean strategy" that can be applied in personal career development.
Blue ocean strategy is the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and low cost to open up a new market space and create new demand. It is about creating and capturing uncontested market space, thereby making the competition irrelevant. It is based on the view that market boundaries and industry structure are not a given and can be reconstructed by the actions and beliefs of industry players.
In this short course, I attempted to explain that strategy and how you can apply that in your career development.
We will also learn key steps in personal branding and have a fully optimized linked-in profile.
