Adam Monroe's Upright Bass - bass virtual instrument and library of samples (24-bit, 44.1), which can operate directly in your DAW.



The purpose of this library was to find a balance between a realistic bass sound and useful plug-in, so the articulation of "pre-written" and not designed / programmed. Although a software simulator allows better control of the game, nothing sounds better than a living articulation.
When sampling this bass used the Shure SM81 microphone stereo pair in the near position, as well as Neumann Tlm 102. During mixing time, it was decided that the SM81 with the D112 will be able to give the best overall tone.
Version VST, AU and AAX include high-performance algorithms that improves with every new virtual instrument issued by Adam Monroe Music. For example, buffering algorithm is double-buffered and threading, which means high performance buffering even slower computers and even with fewer delays. Voices are stored and repeated in the C-Style array. Using memory version VST lower than the (outdated) version Kontakt (70-130 MB). Versions VST, AU and AAX now also include native support sampling frequencies of 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz.
