This is a course about teaching in the age of AI. We all know the new challenges that AI has brought to those of us in the teaching profession. Nevertheless, AI is also bringing unprecedented opportunities. In this course, we will feel your pain, strategize on how to meet the challenges of this moment, learn the latest AI tools and opportunities, and reimagine what education might look like in the days ahead.

The heart of the course is reimagining instruction. We not only present strategies like reformating assessment, focusing on the process of learning, localizing assignments, and new approaches to language learning and STEM assessment. We also brainstorm the opportunities of this moment to create stimulating learning objects and to use AI as a research partner.
The course is far from exhaustive, but it mentions the vast majority of relevant topics at some point, making it an excellent launching pad into this quickly-changing reality that we are all part of. We end with some prognostication. What does a post-LMS world look like, where many students will learn by gaming and learning takes place "inside AI" rather AI simply being a tool we go to.
