One-of-a kind performance by Night Ranger on November 09, 2022. At the Key Bank State Theatre in Cleveland, they performed with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra throughout the show. CYO consists of more than 90 musicians, ages 12 to 18, representing more than 40 Ohio schools. It is a full orchestra, wind, string and percussion ensemble. The orchestra performed with Night Ranger on all 15 songs that night.
Founded in 1995, CYO's mission is to provide students with opportunities to perform both new and contemporary orchestral music. One of the Cleveland-based CYO's regular projects is collaborating with well-known pop and rock acts such as Jefferson Starship, Styx, Pat Benatar, as well as Kenny Loggins, among others, for orchestral concerts featuring the artists' works. It's a slightly different arrangement of their music, with the orchestra collaborating with the composer.
This show was different from any other Night Ranger show, it not only raised funds, but the band also decided to film the entire performance to document the extraordinary evening. These unique interpretations of their greatest hits were performed for the first time. The setlist combined the band's classics, new songs and cover versions, a truly unique Night Ranger concert event.
