Service Security Editor will allow you to add/remove service permissions effectively restricting or allowing access to your system.This tool is designed to provide an easy way for users to grant (or deny) the ability to start, stop, pause or modify any Windows Service with minimal clicks. You will be able to quickly configure who has access to your essential Windows Services right from an easy-to-use GUI. It can be considered an alternative to Microsoft's powerful SC and SubInACL.exe command line programs. Service Security Editor is a powerful admin tool and is geared for the more experienced user - proceed with caution as changes can have detrimental effects.

Using Service Security Editor is truly simple, once you have launched it, you are provided with an uncomplicated window with a drop-down menu that lists all services on your machine. You can select one from that list and open it. From there it brings you to a permissions window where you can choose the permissions to allow or deny. When you are satisfied with your selections, hit OK and then on the main interface window hit done. This tool can be used for either your home or work network systems and can be tailored to offer the same permissions to multiple users by adding them all to the same group which will expedite the job or for simply restricting your child from specific apps.
