We both, Rainer and Burkhard, have thrown the balls to each other again and again, given suggestions and help, documented results or discarded them. Here many of these records shall be summarized. It is not primarily about instructions for specific controllers, but about the process of research and development and our personal experiences with these topics.
One thing we can say in advance, the maker, hobbyist, developer or researcher almost never works entirely alone. The projects usually rest on many shoulders. One person alone can't achieve everything, but if you tackle things with united strength, something can come of it.
