s., is part of Chaos Group, is pleased to announce the availability of Chaos Corona 8 HF2 for Autodesk 3ds Max. This release includes fixes to various user-reported issues from the previous release, providing an overall more stable experience.
This release contains a fix for a crash if the render ee was swapped to Corona when not logged in to the Chaos License Server, and for an issue where a black environment and non-black environment overrides could lead to NaNs. There are no other changes.

The development of Chaos Corona started back in 2009 as a solo student project of Ondrej Karlik at Czech Technical University in Prague. Corona has since evolved to a full- commercial project, after Ondrej established a company together with the former CG artist Adam Hotovy, and Jaroslav Krivanek, associate professor and researcher at Charles University in Prague. In August 2017, the company became part of Chaos Group, allowing for further expansion and growth. Despite its young age, Corona Renderer has become a production-ready renderer capable of creating high�quality results.
