SWOOD 2020 SP1 - Release notes
GENERALITY
- General: Missing french translation (SR-2392/2417).
SWOOD Design
- Connector: The link of the length of the tenon with the thickness of the panel doesn't work. (SR-2482).
- Connector: Suppression of of components in configuration not possible if the rebuild mode is blocked (SR-2448).
- Profiles: Can't insert a profile on a sketch from an assembly (SR-1616).
- SWOOD Center: Dimension Link lost after copy (SR-2408).
SWOOD CAM
- General: Impossible to save modification in simulation parameters on the post-processor (SR-2348).
- Machining: Warning message when milling surface using a finish tool (SR-2251).
- Machining: 3D milling on surface crash SOLIDWORKS (SR-2445).
- Machining: Open Pocket Milling surfacing option is not available if a hole exist on the surface (SR-1681).
SWOOD CAM NESTING
- General: Attach inserted on parts change their position on nesting (SR-2245).
- General: "Grain is vertical" not supported in Manual nesting (SR-2438).
- General: Issues with manual nesting and different laminates (SR-2383).
- General: Points of attachment modified in the nesting context (SR-2395).
- General: Fix attach computing on simulation tool path (used pp with no compensation tool path) (SR-2350).

Founded in 1989, EFICAD began its CAD/CAM experience with educational products in mechanical sector. In 1991, SCM company solicited EFICAD to bring a specific CAM solution for one of the first NC router installed in France. Interested in woodworking we started to implement the specific technologies of this sector in our Autocad based CAM. Since that time, EFICAD has helped woodworkers to produce windows, doors, stairs, furniture and many other products and stay in touch with the latest technology like the numerical working table that we manage since 2007.
EFICAD and DS SolidWorks have started their partnership in 2001 with EFICNSW, a mechanical CAM software which is now distributed in more than 2000 education sites in France. In 2009 SWOOD joined the SOLIDWORKS solutions offered by EFICAD.
