What you'll learn

    Students will learn how to create a 3-D textured surface on certain objects within the painting. Highlighting them and drawing interest to that area. the students will learn preparation of applied pieces as well as the application and the merging of the pieces into the artwork. Methods of texturizing and tools to achieve these methods are discussed.

Requirements

    Art materials are required. That being Acrylic modeling paste, palette knife, Wax paper and screen nylon mesh. In addition a french cake decorating tube and a turkey basting syringe are needed. Use of these tools and others are discussed and examples of their use are shown.

Description

Instruction on the methods of creating a 3-D textured art piece, with various Acrylic products and tools.The creation of textured art work that is later applied to the surface of the art and also textured surfaces applied directly on the art board. Fine line textured tree limbs creation and their reflections in the water. Materials needed are acrylic paint, Acrylic Modeling paste, nylon screen, A french cake decorating tube and a turkey basting syringe. And a whole lot of fun!
