PENNA is New York musician David Penna's progressive hard rock solo project. Originally envisioned as a band idea, PENNA's debut EP 'ChemicalGod' was written, performed and produced entirely by David Penna. His influences range from current-day bands like Deftones and King's X to lifelong idols Stevie Wonder and The Beatles. The music winds through shades of prog, alternative and metal, with lyrical themes touching on death, addiction and spirituality.
Penna is best known for his drumming work with Kronin, Planet Hate, Spastic Ink, Ad Astra and Ronnie Spector. He has also released EDM music, had compositions featured in tv & movies, and authored content for several Korg electronic instruments.
