Howden has released the newest version of its pipe system simulation software PumpSim Premium 3.1.0.2, is a 3D flow simulation software developed for pipe networks. The software allows you to design, optimize and simulate pump and liquid reticulation system.
About PumpSim . Pumpsim is designed to simulate pumping and water network systems to design systems, greatly improveefficiency and reduce costs for existing sites and future developments. Pumpsim provides the user the tools to:
- Simulate flows and pressures in an existing network.
- Perform 'what if' simulations for planned new development.
- Help in short term and long term planning of flow requirements.
- Assist in selection of pumps and valves.
- Calculate installation and running costs.
Pumpsim has been designed to make the process of pipe network model analysis as intuitive, informativeand easy to use as possible. Pumpsim utilises sophisticated 3D graphics, driven by a fully graphicalmouse driven interface.
Pumpsim automatically installs as a 32 bit or 64 bit version. The 64 bit version has the ability to utiliseadditional computer memory, and therefore much larger models can be used. Recommend maximum modelsizes are 3,000 pipes for the 32 bit version, and up to 10,000 pipes for 64 bit versions. Increased amounts ofDXF reference data can also be set to be displayed in the 64 bit version.
