DescriptionMy course is divided into three sections and is all about describing procurement a simple way starting from defintion up to tools ( Procurement Plan-A requisition- Bids evaluation matrix- evaluation Report- Memorandul - Procurement tracker) , and solicitation methods, we use to manage efficiently a purchase process. After listening lectures, there is a quiz to help learners assess their competences. In addition, there are also some case studies to help learners get accustomed to the use of the memorandum. The procurement are the 5 Rs explained with very simple words, the principles are nothing but Value for money, Ethical standards ( transparency, fairness,and integrity), and Genuine competition. The categorization of the purchase process is summed up in 3 phases: Prepurchasing, Purchasing and Postpurchasing. Templates of tools usually used are given and will be downloadable to help learners capitalize after taking this course on the tips for a successful procurement. As far as the memorandum and the procurement tracker are concerned, we listed the key elements of each tool. This detail will help learners have a structured idea of the different template. Even if we do not emphasize on the contract, we list and define the different types of contract intruments: PO/Purchase Order, BPA/Blanket purchase Agreement, and LTA/Long Term Agreement.
