There are two ways to use the AI (artificial intelligence) of the new Bing: either the Edge browser together with the Bing search engine or BingGPT.
BingGPT is the desktop application for the revolutionary Bing search engine that provides a more convenient way to use AI without opening your Edge browser.
The AI of the new Bing is based on ChatGPT, but it is more powerful.

Microsoft has recently announced their big plans of launching an AI-powered Bing search engine that aims to improve how people interact and get results. The project entails a merge between Bing and Edge to provide better search results, a new chat experience and a different way to generate content. The next-generation search engine is allegedly more powerful than ChatGPT and is tailored specifically for searches.
