This means that emotional intelligent people can influence the emotions of other people either in general life or in the business sector. This emotional intelligent skill is very vital in the choice of leadership in this modern time, because we all need a leader who will act on conscious patience. One of the skills that is very important in all aspect of life is self regulation, this point is where one need to think before speaking, being able to regulate one self is a very great sign of maturity because you can remain calm for a while before you speak on any thing, by that short interval will help you to calm down and plan what you want to say. This skill has help a lot of people to be respected in society. Emotional intelligence even has an impact in teaching and learning, the goal at this stage is not only to improve health but helps students clearly succeed academically and prevent bullying. Emotionally intelligent people have empathy for others, this let them put themselves in the shoes of other and feel for them.Emotional intelligence can be use in so many ways such as being able to accept criticism and responsibility, this let emotionally intelligent people to own up to their mistakes and criticism and will not point fingers on others when things goes wrong, this clearly help them to move on after they have made a mistake and learn to do the right thing. In the work sectors there are a lot of labor demonstrations because some management even fail to listen to their words and understand their point all even reason with them for peaceful negotiation. A very good emotional intelligent leaders clearly appreciate other peoples opinions and work to ensure that there is consensus building to resolved issues amicably. Parents who are emotionally intelligent understand the developmental issues of their children and most times reason with their children to ensure that they come to amicably conclusion on challenges affecting the children. There is a very wide industry opinions that emotional intelligence has a very close link with performance in organization because employees who are emotionally intelligent are happy when they are being corrected by their superiors because they know that is the only way they can learn and grow on the job.
