Addresses 3, a simple way to manage your private and business contacts. The extra functionality will help you through the daily affairs. You can enter as much addresses you like including telephone number, mobile number, fax number, email address and other information.
Pictures
It is possible to attach a picture in JPG- or GIF-format to every contact. You can choose whether to display the contact with or without picture.
Copy contact
In order to copy a contact into another document just click on [Copy] and paste the contact into the other program (e.g. text editor) with [Paste].
Insert new contacts
Softwarenetz Addresses 3 is able to paste contact details directly from the Windows clipboard. Just select and copy a contact, from e.g. an internetsite or email, and paste the contact into the program. Addresses 3 will analyse the details and will be able to recognise name, street, city and the heading based upon the first name.
Print labels and envelopes
You can print as many contacts as you like onto labels or envelopes. Addresses 3 supports labels on a DIN-A4 sheet, labelprinters (e.g. Dymo) and envelopes. Ofcourse you are able to divide your contacts into groups in order to print labels for only one group, e.g. 'Christmas Cards'.
Email
To send an email, just click on the email address. (Condition is Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail).
Call
In case you have installed a modem or ISDN-card with the appropriate Windows-TAPI-driver, it's possible to dial a telephone number or mobile number directly from Addresses 3.
Print and export
You can print the contacts onto a label or envelope and of course as a list. You can also create a HTML-file with all contacts. To use the contacts within another program, e.g. Winword, you can export the contacts into a text- or CSV-file.
Insert appointments
The new Addresses 3 is compatible with Softwarenetz Calendar 3. Insert a new appointment and add a contact to this appointment with just one mouse click.
Text editor
In cooperation with Softwarenetz Text editor you can create documents and mailings for your contacts directly out of Addresses 3.
Home screen
A new feature in Addresses 3 is the home screen. You can configurate the home screen according to your wishes. Select the color and the background and select your favorite groups and contacts.
Network
You can use Addresses3 within a network on as many workstations as you wish and have access to the same database. New contacts and changes will be displayed automatically on all workstations. For every workstation you need a licence number.
