PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition V20 Update 3 | 1.2 Gb
The PLAXIS development team is pleased to announce the availability of PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition V20 Update 3 is a finite element package intended for three-dimensional analysis of deformation and stability in geotechnical engineering. It is equipped with features to deal with various aspects of complex geotechnical structures and construction processes .
New and improved features
---------------------------------
* The shape designer was replaced by the polycurve designer, which is now based on the look-and-feel of the tunnel designer. The polycurve designer includes new functionality for creating circular and square polycurves.
* Added an internal Python environment that is only used by PLAXIS satellite tools, and a default Python environment that can be used to run scripts from PLAXIS.
* Added possibility to specify which Python environment is used to run scripts from PLAXIS, allowing for custom Python environments to be used.
* Improved meshing performance for particular projects, consisting of a very large number of surfaces.
* Command line autocomplete is now elevated into a full feature, from being a technology preview before. Various issues have been addressed, the performance has been improved, and command line autocomplete is now enabled by default.
* ProjectWise integration is now elevated into a full feature, from being a technology preview before. Various issues have been addressed, and it is now possible to leave a project checked out when closing the Plaxis program.
* Calculation Manager tool was added, which can automate opening, starting, calculating, and saving of results for multiple projects.

PLAXIS 3D Output Viewer CONNECT Edition V20 Update 3
----------------------------------
The Output Viewer is a standalone application intended for viewing
and inspecting the results of a fully calculated PLAXIS model.
PLAXIS 3D is a powerful and user friendly finite element package intended for three-dimensional analysis of deformation and stability in geotechnical engineering and rock mechanics. PLAXIS is used worldwide by top engineering companies and institutions in the civil and geotechnical engineering industry. Applications range from excavations, embankments and foundations to tunnelling, mining and reservoir geomechanics.
PLAXIS 3D has advanced features to tackle modelling challenges in the most complex geotechnical projects, that cannot be solved with PLAXIS 2D.
Finite element modelling in full 3D has never been easier with a range of CAD-like drawing tools and extrude, intersect, combine and array operations. It's almost like sculpting.
In this showreel, we display some models of dams and embankments made in PLAXIS 3D. Bentley Systems is a software development company that supports the professional needs of those responsible for creating and managing the world's infrastructure.
