The Altair product team is pleased to announce the availability of Compose 2019.4 Build 4965. This release includes a variety of bug fixes and technical improvements as well as new features and enhancements.

        New Features:

OML Language Improvements
- Sparse matrices support is enhanced (substraction, diag, find).
New OML Language Commands
- addlibrary()
Descriptionting and GUI Improvements
- gridon/off for surface and contour Descriptions (meshlines property added).
- colorbar() command added.
- title() supports cell input.
- Multi-selection enabled in uicontrol.

Resolved Issues
The following issues (and more) have been resolved for Compose 2019.4:

-  Help redirection issue for non-documented commands or functions.
-  Crash in function contains.
-  Description options dialog appears truncated in small Description windows.
-  sortrows issue with second argument (descending order).
-  Clicking View from the menu bar leads to a crash on Linux.
-  Crash with matrix indexing.
-  Missing imshow documentation.
-  Applying colormap to imshow image results in crash.
-  Description disappears when docking a Description.
-  Crash using dot operator.
-  f06 reader cannot read some parts of the data.
-  Missing documentation for time data in H3D commands.
-  Console mode execution of commands/scripts causes crash.
-  On Linux, system command doesn't work properly.
-  Memory leak with dot product operation.
-  Application crashes when indexing cell with end.
-  Error with class inheritance.
-  Error in format specified for textscan.
-  Part of the elements are missing when reading H3D file.
-  whos not working for a sparse matrix.
-  No warning in the interface when R_HOME is not defined (mandatory to call the R interpreter in Compose).
-  Set class as logical.
-  Description options dialog loses focus when invoked.
-  Crash from sprintf command.
-  Values for waitbar (uicontrol) are not updating.
-  rmdir should work for directories with Unicode characters.
-  Description() changes xlim/ylim with hold on.
-  Failed to change directory to root under Linux.
-  Issue with folder path with special characters.
-  Application crashes when indexing uitable data with illegal syntax.
-  License expiration message box displayed twice.
-  Set visible for textbox doesn't work as expected.
-  Curve legend highlight color issue in font.
- line() and scatter() cannot set marker properties during initialization.
-  X-axis color changed after you set bar Descriptionting to Horizontal Bar Orientation.
-  mkdir does not work properly when the input is not an English name.
-  title does not work properly on 3D Descriptionting.
