Windows 7 Home Premium is the most standard version for home users, actually the equivalent of Windows Vista Home Premium. Among the advantages of this version are support for the Aero Glass interface with improved navigation between windows, simple use of networks and connection to all home PCs, improved and expanded support for various media formats, updated Windows Media Center, and the ability to work with multi-touch interfaces and improved recognition handwriting.
The main features of Windows 7:
DirectAccess - Provides mobile users with reliable access to corporate networks from the Internet without having to create a virtual private network (VPN) connection.
BitLocker and BitLocker To Go - helps protect data on computers and removable drives, if necessary, enforces encryption and creates backup copies of keys for data recovery.
BranchCache - reduces the time users from branch offices spend on downloading files over the network.
Enterprise Search Scopes - provides a single, simple interface for finding information on the corporate network, including SharePoint sites.
AppLocker - allows the administrator to determine which applications can and which cannot be run on user PCs using centrally managed but flexible group policies.
Improvements in virtual desktop deployment infrastructure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) - Updated VDI interface includes support for multiple monitors and microphones. It also provides the ability to use virtual machine images for booting physical PCs.
Subsystem for UNIX-Based Applications (SUA) - a subsystem for Unix-based applications facilitates integration between Windows and UNIX / Linux environments.
Multilingual user interface (MUI) - the ability to create a single image for any language versions and any type of hardware (desktop, laptop, Tablet PC), which will provide a more convenient and fast deployment of the operating system. Official updates from Microsoft are integrated (except for Windows Defeneder, .Net Framework, telemetry, updates to Windows 10) on 05/25/2018. Some updates are not subject to integration into the distribution, their total size is small.
Internet Explorer 11.0.60 is integrated.
On the C drive: information about lock bypass options has been added cwer.ru
User Account Control (UAC) is turned off.
Activation is provided separately, which allows activating the OS with a legal key.
The assembly is provided in two versions: with install.esd and with install.wim (the image from which Windows is deployed during installation). Using install.esd can significantly reduce the size of the image. install.wim is used in the original version of Windows (that is, the version from the developers). The gradual transition to install.esd is caused by an increase in the volume of updates that need to be integrated into the assembly, as a result, in the current Windows 7 x64 build, the install.wim file exceeds 4 GB, and the build image exceeds 4.38 GB, which does not allow writing it to DVD5. Thus, you have two options for assembly. Choose the one that you prefer, otherwise they are exactly the same.
