ADINA R&D Inc., has released 9.5.0 version ADINA System, a one-system program for comprehensive finite element analysis of structures, fluids, heat transfer, electromagnetics and multiphysics, all used by one graphical user interface.


ADINA is used in industry and academia to solve structural, fluid, heat transfer, and electromagnetic problems. ADINA can also be used to solve multiphysics problems, including fluid-structure interactions and thermo-mechanical problems.
The development of ADINA was started in 1974 by Dr. Klaus-J�rgen Bathe, shortly after he finished, as the principal developer, the finite element programs SAP IV and NONSAP.
In 1986, Dr. Bathe founded ADINA R & D, Inc. in Massachusetts, USA, and he continues to lead the development of ADINA as technical director of the company.
ADINA R&D, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Dr. K.J. Bathe, a teacher and researcher, and associates. The exclusive mission of the company is the development of the ADINA System for linear and nonlinear finite element analysis of solids and structures, heat transfer, CFD and electromagnetics. ADINA also offers a comprehensive array of multiphysics capabilities including fluid-structure interaction and thermo-mechanical coupling. Some of the nonlinear structural analysis capabilities of ADINA are offered as Solution 601/701 of NX Nastran by Siemens PLM Software.
