News and Extensions

N00001 The new tracing option Linear System Analysis can output system matrices for eigenvalue calculations and the calculated eigenvalue system. This allows for large models to be analyzed and modified in regard to issues with eigenvalue calculations.
N00002 Library Vehicle Transmissions: The models Gearset and Gearbox Base Structure with Synchronizer can now also include parameters for elasticity and damping. This is particularly useful when specific data is available, since the internal calculation is only able to provide an approximation.
N00003 The type SignalBlocks.Linear.LinDAE has been improved so that it can now be used not only for testing purposes, but also to model user- defined descriptor systems. It is possible, for example, to analyze the behavior of the linear equivalent system calculated from the analysis of the transfer function. This is done by entering the system matrices derived from the analysis of the transfer function as parameters A,B,C,D,E.
N00004 Mechanics (MBS): In the contact model Circle-Line, the parameter autoUpdateRef2 was replaced by an internal setting.
N00005 After the import of an FMU, the TypeDesigner is no longer opened automatically.
