DescriptionA lot of people have a strong desire to write but find themselves frustrated because they lack time. It's true that writing takes concentration, but you can teach yourself to make use of small amounts of time and - with persistence - write quite a lot in those little bits of time. I know, because I have written books, stories, plays and more for a variety of publishers -- all while working full time jobs.Finding time, keeping motivated, reaching goals: that is the backbone of this course. You will learn how to carve out more time to write. You will learn techniques to make the most of the time you do free up. You will also create manageable goals to keep you on track and motivated to make the most of your writing sessions -- and to be eager for more! There's more than being effective, however. Writing is the simplest way to examine your life as you live it. It can be directly through a journal or diary, or it may be more obliquely conveyed through a story. Even a non-fiction essay reveals a lot about where you are and what you're thinking. Like the clothes you choose to wear at any given time, the pieces you write help demonstrate how you see yourself and how you embody your own beliefs about life.
